I was out in Phoenix from Michigan a few weeks ago. I tried to get out there at night a few times but you were just closing. My plane left at 11am the next morning. The lady was nice enough to open early to sell me a combo plate. I researched several BBQ joints on the web. I ate at Joe’s in Gilbert. The Brisket and Chicken were good, but the Ribs were very bland (no smoke ring). I ate at Arizona BBQ company. Everything was bad! You couldn’t even get the brisket un-sauced. I almost ate at Honey Bears, but the guy who answered the phone said they cook with Mesquite Charcoal, so I skipped that.
You all intrigued me because you BBQ Lamb, which is some of the best tasting 'Que around. That told me you were serious. I’ve been to Kansas City several times and Fieorella’s Jack Stack is tough to beat. All your 'Que was top notch!!!! The Ribs had a nice red smoke ring and were tender. The Brisket was great and the Lamb was awesome!!! Unbelievable!! I barely made my plane, but the food rush was worth it. Thanks for a great meal!!!
